In Castellon the final event of the courses at the Instituto de Educación Secundaria Vila-Roja

In Castellon, Valencia, the final event of the European project TKV.

The meeting, sponsored by Fundetec and the '"Instituto de Educación Secundaria Vila-Roja", will be held Thursday, May 16 at 16 at IES Vila-Roja in the Spanish town of Castellon.

Grandparents and volunteer tutors, teacher s and coordinators, will present the results achieved in the context of digital literacy project for over 60 sponsored by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with 7 European partners. A group of volunteers, teachers and participants to the project training courses in Italy in the school IPSS De Amicis branch Cardinal Capranica, Rome, will take part to the event via video conference. During the day you will be presented with "El Abecedario de Internet," a small booklet prepared by the students. Programme and press release are available below

Never Alone

Thanks to volunteer students, over 800 elders in 5 European countries have become web experts. Italy, Spain, Greece, Czech Republic and Romania are the five countries that hosted the digital literacy courses for over-sixties held by young volunteers thanks to Project The Knowledge Volunteers.
